Amenities

  • We have an unusually large area which was formerly the ladies toilets. It's got more cubicles than you could ever need so we converted some of the cubicles into a changing area.

  • Yes, we'd be in trouble if we didn't!

    All the studios have multiple 13A outlets but we can also supply 16A & 32A power if needed.

    If you have any concerns, do drop us a line.

  • Yes! Our studio used to be a bar so we have an unusually large toilet area.

  • Absolutely! We have 300 Mb/s fibre broadband which our customers can share, without charge, for duration of their booking.

  • We always have complementary Tea,coffee and filtered water that you can help yourself to.

    We also have up to 20% discount with some local restaurants so let us know if you are all going for lunch or a meal after the shoot.

    If the pressure is on lots of our client order in and there are all the most well known food & drinks place on our doorstep so arrives almost instantly.

 

Help & Assistance

  • We can provide photographers, production and lighting assistants, digital assistants and retouchers. Lighting and digital assistants start from £150 for a half day (4 hours) and from £250 for a full day (8 hours).

  • For £50 we can provide a service of setting the lights up on stands so you are ready to go as soon as you get here, and then we pack them down at the end of the shoot so that you maximise your time here.

  • Retouching costs between £5–£15 per image. We're really good at this and think that we are good value too! Why not try us and find out for yourself?

  • Yes. We are very happy to quote for this and costs will be based on requirements.

 

Bookings

  • Payments can be made via a link on your invoice or through our website payment system when making a booking.

  • Overtime is charged at 50% uplift of dry hire, double after 9pm and is billed hourly. Overtime will only be permitted should the studio schedule allow it and no other clients are waiting to use the studio. We can be very busy and it wouldn't be right to compromise someone else's booking. We know things don't always go to plan, or sometimes they go better than expected and you just don't want to stop; either way we will do everything we can to extend your booking if the calendar can accommodate.

  • The quickest way to check and secure a booking slot is to click on the ‘booking’ button on this website. We update the calendar in real time. You can always give us a call or send an email, but booking online is the best way to make a firm booking for the date and time slot you need.

  • The minimum booking requirement is four hours, You can book fewer hours if you wish, but the hire fee will is 50% per hour higher for anything less than four.

  • All rigging and de-rigging of equipment should fall within your booking period, so be mindful to allow enough time for it.

  • Sessions are booked in either 4, 8 or 12 hour (full day) slots. Slots are time-boxed and start from 09:00, 13:00 and 17:00.

  • Can I book the space out-of-hours?

    We often host events in the evening, from training workshops to pop-up art galleries. We'd be delighted to discuss your event with you.

  • Cancellations made 7 days before the scheduled session start time are eligible for a 100% refund.

    Cancellations within 7 days of the scheduled session start time are eligible for a 50% refund.

    Cancellations or no shows within the 48 hour period prior to their session will not receive any refund under any circumstances and are non-transferable

 

Location & Logistics

  • Our studio in in the heart of Wimbledon and minutes from the rail and underground links. Head left from the front of the station and cross the road just before you reach the 'Centre Court' shopping complex - aim for Hartfield Road and the traditional pub on the corner called 'The Prince of Wales'. Follow the pavement round as it bends to the left and look for a left turn into Broadway Place which is immediately after 'MW Solicitors'. Walk through and bear right - the discreet entrance to the studio is a white door on your right. Upon arrival you will be met and looked after by one of our Studio Managers.

  • There is no parking outside the studio but there is a sizeable loading bay to allow equipment to be moved into the building. There is inexpensive parking very close to the studios at Hartfield road Car Park, just a minute or so from our door.

  • Of course! We're photographers ourselves and we understand that sometimes you just want to know that all the kit and props are there and waiting. Similarly it's often easier to collect stuff a day or two after a shoot. We have storage areas to cater for this and we make a nominal £50 per day charge for this service.

  • We understand how easy it is for valubles to be left behind and we are happy to hold onto your property for a short period. Please know, after a period of a month, if valubles are not claimed, they will be donated to charitry.

 

Equipment

  • We have a good range of flash and LED lights all with modifiers. Please see our equipment list to see the full range. The first two lights are free and £30 for any extra.

  • It is £30 per roll for colours we stock. If it’s a special colour for specific use then there’s an extra charge, which will be the cost of a roll which we can source.

  • Yes there are large rectangular tables as well as fold out options.
